Popular Bollywood and Marathi actress Suhasini Mulay, who has worked in films in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Lagaan’, ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’, ‘Jodha Akbar’ among others, has been trending on the social media, getting married at the age of 60, four years after her marriage.
The actress found love and got married when she was 60, the surprising bit is that the news has come out four years later. The 64 year old actress tied the knot on January 16, 2011.
According to reports, Suhasini met Atul Gurtu, a physicist, online. Atul, who is widower, had written an article after his first wife had passed away. After Suhasini read the article where Atul wrote about the period when his first wife was suffering from cancer, she felt attracted to him.
Reportedly, her family was initially surprised when she broke this news to them. In an interview to an entertainment portal, Suhasini said her family had never imagined her getting married at all and hence the news came as a shock to everyone.
