Confimed: Kareena Kapoor Khan walks out of Raj Kumar Gupta’s ‘Section 84’
We were the first ones to tell you that Kareena Kapoor Khan has opted out of Raj Kumar Gupta’s upcoming film ‘Section 84’. Confirming the news in today Mumbai Mirror, Gupta confirmed, “Yes, it's a mutual decision. Things didn't work out as planned.”
Reportedly, Kareena was said to be playing a schizophrenic in the movie who finds herself at the centre of a crime. And while the film was supposed to go on-floors initially in April, got postponed and was to finally start in August.
However, Kareena opted out of the movie citing issues with the script and also because Gupta couldn’t find another suitable producer after Salman Khan backed out. But Raj Kumar rubbished these reports and quoted to Mumbai Mirror, “These speculations are absolutely untrue. Eros has been on board for some time. As for the script excuse, that is the most convenient route and I guess as old as cinema.”
We wonder now who would step in to Kareena’s shoes!
