Diya Aur Baati Hum: Suraj recovers from mental ailment; runs away to rescue Sandhya from Garjana Sangathan!
In the recent episode, we saw Lalima (Shefali Sharma) risking her life to cure Suraj (Anas Rathi) of his fear of fire and the mental trauma related to Sandhya’s death. She enters a thatched hut and sets it on fire to attract Suraj’s attention. Meanwhile, the Rathis manage to trace Suraj and reach the venue. Bhabho and others of her family as well as Lalima’s brother Lokesh get shocked to witness the life-threatening event. While, Bhabho worries for Lalima, Suraj finds himself fighting his fear of fire to salvage Lalima’s life in whom he sees Sandhya. Suraj finally overcomes his fear and barges inside the hut to rescue Lalima. The duos are ushered to the hospital for first aid. After examining Suraj, the doctor reveals to the Rathis that he has recovered from his ailment. The Rathis also learn after speaking to Suraj that he has accepted Sandhya’s death.
On the other hand, Lalima speaks to her brother Lokesh while lying in the hospital ward with multiple burns on her body. Bhabho visits Lalima and thanks her wholeheartedly for salvaging Suraj selflessly. She also expresses gratitude to Lalima for loving Suraj and promises to get her married to him.
Meanwhile, Ved brings a snack for Suraj in a piece of newspaper. Suraj gets shocked to see an article published in the paper along with the picture of a partially veiled woman. The picture turns out to be Sandhya’s, clicked at the Nizami wedding where she danced a few days ago, as part of her plan to loot money with Manjari. Suraj recognises Sandhya’s eyes and informs Ved that his mother is alive.
He promises Ved to bring Sandhya back and sneaks out of the hospital with his belongings.
When Bhabho reaches Suraj’s ward with Lalima, Lokesh and others, Ved recounts Suraj telling him about Sandhya. Bhabho, Lalima and others get disturbed to hear the utterly unexpected news.
On the other hand, in the village, Sandhya learns every detail about Garjana Sangathan’s plan to destroy the nation by firing nuclear bomb on October 2nd. She even steals the remote control of the nuclear bomb by sneaking into the secret work station. However, Chandu gets his hands on Manjari’s tablet which he found lying in the jungle and gets it repaired. To his shock, he finds Sandhya’s IPS academy pictures with Officer Agrima Singh in the tablet which Manjari viewed on the day Sandhya attacked her. At night, Chandu and his men find Sagarika aka Sandhya sending messages to the police via the laser pen in the woods. They nab her red-handed and hand-cuff her. Chandu slaps Sandhya repeatedly for cheating on them by her smart moves and asks his men to take her to Bade Raja – their chief. Sandhya gives Chandu an earful by telling him that the vicious plan of his Sangathan will not be a success no matter how hard they try.
Now that Sandhya is in the clutches of Garjana Sangathan and might be killed anytime soon, how will she send the news of Garjana’s masterplan to the police team?
