Diya Aur Baati Hum: Lalima is left with a last chance to cure Suraj; Sandhya gets ready to bust Garjana’s plan!
So far in the show we had seen Sandhya employing various tricks to get rid of Manjari. She begs Shekhar and Bade Raja to allow her to see Manjari, who is being treated under Narayani Devi’s survelliance. The Garjana chiefs allow Sandhya to meet Manjari but amidst tight security. Sandhya takes a poison along to kill Manjari but fails to do so as someone interrupts her. Sandhya comes to know that the son of Sajni and Bade Raja has fallen severely ill due to exposure to radioactive radiation. Bade Raja and Chandu come to know that the boy had ventured into the forest area where they are preparing the nuclear bomb, but they keep the news to themselves to avoid chances of their secret plan from getting leaked. Sandhya insists on getting the boy treated at the hospital but no one pays heed to her plea owing to their orthodox and biased views. Sandhya sees Sajni crying helplessly and pities her. She feels for the ill boy and sees her own son Ved in him. Sandhya takes Sajni into confidence and with her approval, sets out with the boy on a cart, towards the hospital to get him treated.
She manages to reach the hospital on time. The doctors begin treating the boy and soon, succeed in rescuing his life. However, just when Sandhya is about to read the blood test reports of the boy, Chandu aka Shekhar arrives to snatch them from her. He does so to stop Sandhya from knowing anything related to the boy’s exposure to radioactive content and their secret mission. Sandhya doubts Chandu’s intentions and resolves to read the blood test reports by hook or by crook.
Sajni and Bade Raja get glad to know that their son’s life is out of danger. Sajni thanks Sandhya and promises to help her with her life in future.
In Pushkar, Lalima fails in her attempts to cure Suraj’s mental ailment. In fact, Suraj’s condition deteriorates after Zakir makes him recall how Sandhya died in the train bomb blast. Bhabho and Bhabhasa worry for Suraj and the fear of losing him forces them to decide that they will move to the ancestral village. Meenakshi takes pots-shots at Lalima for her endeavour to treat Suraj of his illness. However, Lalima vows to cure Suraj during the third day of her challenge.
Will Lalima and Sandhya succeed in their noble mission?
