Want curls for days? Follow these heatless curl hacks for luscious curls to die for
Hair curlers and dryers cause split ends and breakage. Follow these easy heatless methods for curls for days!
It is already common knowledge that constant heat and styling daily can cause serious damage to your hair. In real life, to get the amazing poker straight hair or fierce curls, can take a toll on the health of your hair. And to curb your hair from this kind of damage, there's not much you can do other than apply regular hair masks and heat protectant sprays.
We often crave for curls like that of Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and more, but it comes with a price.
Fortunately though, there are other means to get voluminous curls without heat. With the help of these alternative styling tricks, you will have curly hair for days!
Braid/ French Braid

Apply some leave-in conditioner on your damp hair. Then divide your hair into two parts and braid each part separately. Try to do this at night so you can sleep through the night and give your hair enough time to dry and curl. In the morning, open up the braids and dab some oil into your hair so that it is not fizzy.
Straws

This is an old-school hack that was followed by our mothers and grandmothers, that ensured excellent results and perm-like hair. Collect a few drinking straws and wrap small strands of hair around the straw from root to tip. Then, bed the straw at the point at which your hair ends and secure this with a rubber band. Do this until all your hair is wrapped and let it set overnight. The next morning, gently undo all the rubber bands and get set for spring-like hair!
Socks

This hack is ideal for those who have already got a brilliant blow out and want to maintain it. Take all the pairs of clean cotton socks you own and wrap different sections of your hair and wrap it around the sock. Keep knotting the ends, to keep your hair securely wrapped. Use a silk scarf an tie it over your head before you sleep, to secure and keep the hair intact. In the morning, untie the socks slowly and shake your hair lose, for bouncy and voluminous curls!
Pin curls

Wet your hair a little and then part it into different sections. Wrap half inch or one inch sections around your finger and pin them on your scalp with the help of bobby pins. Do this until all your hair is wrapped. Let your hair set overnight and in the morning unpin your hair carefully. If you want them to be in the form of super-curly ringlets, let it stay as it is, if not, run your fingers through your hair so it loosens up a little and adds volume.
