Famous Canadian singer Shawn Mendes in a Twitter chat with a fan revealed that he does not wash his face. This revelation has given the Twitter fam a new topic to get creative about with many advising him to straight up go and wash his face.

There are certainly two kinds of people in the world. One, a bunch of people which is madly obsessed with skincare, beauty and grooming and the other one who don’t pay any heed to how they’re looking. However, there is a third group as well which comprises of people who do nothing but still manage to look like a million bucks. Shawn Mendes is one of the few who fall in the third category.

According to a report in Buzzfeed, when the Canadian singer was asked about his skincare routine by his fan on Twitter. The fan asked him, “Your skin always looks perfect, what’s your skincare routine? To which he replied "I'm not lying when I tell you guys that I don't wash my face! I meditate a lot. I think skin is very based on how you're feeling. You could rub dirt on your face, and if you're happy, you won't break out!"

Well, Shawn is not completely wrong. Happiness does add to the beaming glow, making one’s skin shine like no other. But seems like his fans are having a lot of fun from this recently discovered “fact” about him. Twitter went into a tizzy and some of the tweets will literally crack you up - with many of his fans asking him to wash his face, yes!

One female fan Helene, posted a picture of Shawn drowned in sweat while performing, she tweets, “so you’re telling me.. That Shawn Mendes never washes his face ..even after sweating like this? And yet he has THE BEST skin? My life is joke.”
