We spend loads of money on hair spas and hair salons just to achieve beautiful and healthy hair but it just has the opposite impact on our hair. Using all these hair products can take a toll on our hair. All the beautiful shiny hair we get are just temporary and a few days after our hair treatment our hair goes right back to square one, where it all started. It is essential to use a hair product that can nourish your hair and keep it healthy without using any chemicals. With winter here, our hair tends to get more dry and dull but the right natural ingredient can save us from all of this. How about some banana?

Bananas are known to have high water content and it moisturises your hair and keeps it hydrated and smooth and silky. They're also rich in vitamins and minerals like vitamin B and C and potassium and magnesium and other such things. A homemade banana hair mask can work wonders for your dry and dull hair.

 

Here are some recipes for a healthy banana hair mask

1. Mash some bananas and make pulp and add some fresh aloe vera pulp to it. Mix it well and make a paste. Apply this on your hair and scalp. Ensure that it covers your hair and scalp thoroughly. Let it stay for up to 2 hours and rinse your hair and use a mild shampoo.

2. Make a paste of some mashed papayas and mashed bananas. Mix it well and add a spoonful of honey. Apply this paste on your hair and on your tips. Cover your hair and let it sit for an hour and then rinse with cold water and use a mild shampoo to cleanse your hair.

3. Take 4 spoons of fresh milk cream and mix it with 2 mashed bananas. Mix it well and make a smooth but thick paste. Apply this on your hair and let it sit for up to one hour and then rinse it with cold water. Clean your hair and shampoo them well.

4. Take an avocado and one banana. Chop it into pieces and grind it. Add 2 spoons of honey to this and mix it well. Apply this paste on your hair and scalp and let it sit for up to 1 hour. Cleanse your hair with cold water and shampoo.

5. Mix 2 eggs yolk with one mashed banana. Mix it and beat it properly. Apply this all over your hair and cover it with a shower cap. Let it sit for up to 2 hours before you rinse it. Use cold water to wash your hair and cleanse with a mild shampoo.
