Eye makeup hacks that EVERY girl should know

We all love applying makeup. But when it comes to the application of makeup, eye makeup is the most tricky one. Eye makeup if gone wrong can make our face look dull and tacky. Mastering the eye makeup is also difficult because there are many steps and products involved to get a complete look. There's no denying to the fact that eye makeup when done right, not only defines our look but also adds more volume to our eyes.

So, if you are a beginner, then you shouldn't fret, since, in spite of being tricky, some eye makeup hacks can make your job easy and give you a beautiful result. Without further ado, here are some hacks that will make a huge difference in your life. They will make your eyes shine and will also give you your desired result.

Use primer:

Applying eye primer is the first and the most important step. It not only increases the longevity of your eye makeup but also prevents your makeup from creasing or drying. So next time, don't forget to apply primer as a base while doing your eye makeup.

Avoid darker shades:

If you are a beginner, and don't know much about shades, then let me tell you that dark shades of eyeshadow make your eyes look smaller when applied to the lid. So opt for light colours on the lid and a medium shade on your crease when you're just starting.

Eye makeup before foundation:

It's essential to do your eye makeup before you apply foundation and concealer, since this way you won't end up disrupting parts of your face that have already been completed. Eye makeup is a bit tricky too, so doing it first will also let it sit and dry till you do the rest of our face.

Don't use the brush comes with the eyeshadow pallet:

The brush that comes with the pallet is poorly designed for the application. The material will attract too much pigment and gives you very little control. Instead, choose a thin angled brush to do your eye makeup.

Blend well:

Blending is the most vital step when it comes to the eye makeup application process. Blending helps you achieve a natural look, as opposed to firm lines and contrasts that can make your eye area look a lot smaller.

Use eyeshadow instead of liner:

If you have just started doing your eye makeup, then obviously it'll take you a while to get accustomed to eyeliner. And hence, you should apply a dark shade of eyeshadow with an angled brush. It will create a less harsh look and is a great alternative for beginners looking to make their eyes pop.

So, next time when you plan to add some shine and colour to your eyes, keep these hacks in mind.
