Cannes 2019: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan aces the NEW beauty trend: Find Out

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been one of the most iconic actresses to have glided down the red carpet. Every year, the Cannes veteran surely has something up her sleeves and this time is no different.

From princess dresses to butterfly inspired gowns, Aish has never failed to surprise us. While her signature red lip has been a constant for years, Rai Bachchan has always left room for some kind of experimentation. Being out of the box and balancing the look is what she does best and we are all for it!

The actress pushed fashion boundaries first in 2016, when she stepped on the red carpet in a bold purple lipstick. The bold lip look did quite receive a mixed bag of reviews on the red carpet. While a lot of people loved her fierce look, some of them were clearly not a fan.

As if that was not enough, Mrs Bachchan made sure she grabbed all the eyeballs in the gold gown paired with a striking turquoise eye shadow at the Cannes red carpet in 2016.

To keep up that image, Aish made sure she stepped out of her comfort zone this year as well. For her red carpet appearance this year, Rai made a new beauty trend altogether i.e the Ear Makeup.

Yes, you read it right. Aish graced the red carpet with specks of gold glitter enhancing her years. While the mermaid gown was enough of a statement, Bachchan made sure to push the look a little further by incorporating the ear makeup. Well, the slight highlight of the ears did make the look more contoured and put together, giving that the hair and makeup was not too OTT.
