Babloo Kesto Mukherjee is back with ‘Suryaputra Karn’ after 10 years!

Yesteryear's legendary comedian Kesto Mukherjee's son Babloo Kesto Mukherjee is back after a decade with Siddharth Kumar Tewary's show 'Suryaputra Karn'. Babloo has made his presence felt in comic characters. However, now he will play the past of Uchhasen who is Karn's supportive uncle.

"When the production house offered me this role I was not sure whether I will be able to pull it off or not. But after my audition which went off pretty well Siddharth Kumar Tewary and casting director really motivated me and their faith played a big role behind my taking this up. Look wise, language wise it is so different, I have never done something like this before. I have never spoken this language on screen and Uchhasen is someone who has a supporting side towards his nephew Karn and has a huge role. Whatever I have shot I am very excited for this role," says Babloo.

The actor uses his father's name great actor Kesto Mukherjee's name as his middle name and he is very proud of this fact as he adds,"I lost my father at very young age and I have learnt a lot from him. He was very particular about his work, his dedication was known by everyone in his time and he used to do a lot of Puja so this two things I follow from my heart. Whatever I am today I owe him a lot and I will always use Kesto as my middle name."
