Akhlaque Khan mimics Devanand, Govinda and Ranbir!
The ‘Jaane Kya Hoga Aage 2015' actor Akhlaque Khan just got his filmy avatar. Many people don't know that the TV star is a fabulous mimicry artist. He paid tribute to the three generation superstars in the show.
Akhlaque shared, "I am dancing on Chhod do aanchal (Dev Anand), kisi disco mein (Govinda) and Badtameez dil (Ranbir kapoor). I was also supposed to do an act on Jeetendra’s Dhal gaya din but due to time constraints we had to skip it. I loved looking myself in the mirror. The creative person Pratyusha and stylist, Karishma made my job easy."
It was Akhlaque who gave this incredible idea to the show's writer and did not face any difficulty in carrying the filmy outfits.
"I felt wonderful," said Akhlaque cheerfully "I so wanted to do something like this. I wish I had to imitate more actors. I had once performed in a birthday party and imitated some 8-9 actors. I showed that video to my writer and asked him if something like this can be incorporated. He, very smartly, put it in a party sequence. Nobody helped me imitate them because I have been doing this since school. In fact my first performance on stage in school was as a mimicry artist."
Akhlaque's acts were loved by everyone, especially the Dev Anand act. However, his personal favourite was the Govinda act because Akhlaque believes Govinda to be his guru in comedy. The TV actor also expressed his wish to perform with him in real life.
