The former openers of India, Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag were a treat to watch for all the cricket fans. The commencement of World Cup led to the reunion of these legends and gave the fans the joy of reviving all the memories. Sachin Tendulkar made his commentary debut in the World Cup opening match of the hosts against the Proteas along with his contemporaries Virendra Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly.

Whilst Sourav Ganguly and Virendra Sehwag have had a hand on the commentary panel for quite a few years, it was Sachin’s debut that made the headline.

Seeing this trio together was surely a nostalgic feeling for the Indian cricket fans. The fans were all up in showing their love for the batting trio

Virendra Sehwag posted this picture on Twitter with Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh and captioned it as, “Reunion!”

Later, with Tendulkar in the commentary box, he posted the picture of the legends and captioned it as, “Together again!”

This legendary trio were often seen breaking batting records and winning triumphs on the field. We hope to see them break commentary records in this next phase of life.
