On Tuesday, May 29, MS Dhoni with his stellar batting performance scored 113 runs of just 78 balls which resulted in India setting up a huge total against Bangladesh. With MS Dhoni and KL Rahul’s power-pack performances, India ended up scoring 359/7 runs at the end of 50 overs. KL Rahul eased off the pressure from the Indian batsman by smashing 108 runs of just 99 deliveries. The former Indian captain and probably one of the best finisher in the world set up no boundaries when it came to his performance.

Right from the start, the Indian batting line-up showcased its extraordinary performance with two of its major middle order batsmen scoring a ton. KL Rahul on one hand seemed to have diminished India’s number 4 batting position problem, and on other hand, MS Dhoni’s recurring form is a boon for the team. Skipper, Virat Kohli will be most relieved seeing his middle order contributing in the absence of the runs scored by the openers.

MS Dhoni’s form in the past few months has definitely helped to boost up the confidence of the Indian team. However, the fans have not been reluctant in showcasing their love for the former captain. Let’s have a look at few of these tweets.

The list includes the likes of Harsha Bhogle and Aakash Chopra who praised the excellence of MSD and stated that he has made his arrival in England.

More than a few people wondered if Dhoni could drag himself till this World Cup. Just as well he did. He is looking seriously good, better than he was twelve months ago.
