ICC WORLD CUP 2019: England vs South Africa: Pre match stats and probable playing XI of each side
The 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup is all set to begin as hosts England gear up to take on South Africa at Oval, London.
The tournament will be played from 30 May to 14 July 2019 featuring 10 teams. Each side will face each other once and the top 4 at the end of the group stage will enter into the semi-finals. Cricket experts feel that Eoin Morgan's side will be the team to beat at the World Cup as they have an incredibly strong batting line-up with multiple bowling options at their disposal. Also, home advantage has been a big factor at major ICC events over the years as hosts India and Australia were the winners of the previous editions in 2011 and 2015, respectively. South Africa will have to play out of their skins to give a stiff fight against the mighty Englishmen as they have had a terrific run over the last couple of years.
