ICC World Cup 2019: England VS Australia warm up game, bowlers to watch out from each side

As the hosts take on the defending champions in the 3rd warm up game at Rose Bowl cricket ground, Southampton, let’s have a look at these eminent bowlers from both the sides who will play a major role in their team’s win or defeat.

1.      Mitchell Starc (Australia) - Mitchell Starc is undoubtedly one of the most difficult bowlers to face in the recent times. Though injuries are a major concern for this fast bowler, he’ll be back with a whole new mindset to take on the teams and help Australia retain the title of champions. However, one of the major concerns for the team will be that fact that he played his last ODI back in November 2018 against South Africa. Despite his recent engagement with this format of cricket, this star bowler of Australia will take on the hosts and be a major threat to their batting unit. Starc also played an instrumental role in Australia’s 2015 World Cup triumph and was named Man of the Tournament for his consistency with the ball.

2.      Jofra Archer (England) -The last moment inclusion of Jofra Archer in the team after a successful ODI series against Pakistan evoked a lot of expectations from this young cricketer. Archer made his ODI debut in 2019 and got selected in the England squad for the World Cup after playing only 2 ODI games for England in international cricket. His bowling will be a major threat to the Australian batsman that includes the likes of Aaron Finch and David Warner. This will be a great opportunity for the cricketer to make his permanent presence in the team at such a crucial tournament at the initial years of his career.
