Vijay Deverakonda’s film Arjun Reddy was a huge hit at the box office. Kabir Singh became this year's highest Bollywood grossing film. The film was then remade in other languages as Kabir Singh and Aditya Verma. The Arjun Reddy actor is rumoured to make his debut in Bollywood. The rumour began when Karan Johar announced the remake of Dear Comrade and praised Vijay Deverakonda's performance. Apart from him, other south actors like Allu Arjun, Nivin Pauly and others are rumoured to make their debut in Bollywood. Samantha Akkineni has been approached a couple of times by Bollywood filmmakers for Bollywood movies.
