Rohit Roy approached for a role in Diya aur Baati Hum
Rohit Roy may enter Diya aur Baati Hum as a special training officer for Sandhya on the Star Plus show. The producers want to make the track of the show similar to that of Chak De India and hence want a popular actor to play the role of a coach.
Rohit Roy commented saying that he would love to be a part of the show, because his family watches it and loves it. However, a lot details still need to be ironed out, so once those are closed he will be in a place to give a better answer.
The producers confirm that they are approaching actors for the show. They even went on to say that they will rope in many popular actors during the IPS training story line. As and when their dates get locked and they can make themselves available at the location in Haryana, the shooting will begin. Sonu Sood and Manoj Bajpayee are the other actors that have been approached for the role.
