Satyamev Jayate 2 Trailer: Is Aamir Khan promoting good friend Salman’s film on his patriotic show?
Superstar Aamir Khan has kept his promise of coming back again with yet another new season of his patriotic TV show Satyamev Jayate which went on air for the first time in mid-2012. Although the first season of the show did not garner much popularity amongst the masses, it did manage to carve a niche for itself as a social movement of sorts.
This time, the makers of the show along with host Aamir Khan, are pumped-up even more given the fact that the nation is rising to the injustices and corruption like never before. Taking a cue from the high voter turnout in the state elections, the makers of Satyamev Jayate are expecting more and more viewers this time, and therefore, more TRPs.
The new promo released by the show makers features Aamir Khan munching on oranges while talking to his team. He goes on to tell about two kinds of people – a) who love their nation and vote for a good change b) who don’t give a damn to anything. Keeping in view with the increase in the number of people opting to vote last year, Aamir is expecting to connect with more audiences this season.
But, what really surprised us when Aamir signed off by chanting ‘Jai Ho’, which happens to be his buddy Salman Khan’s film. We have seen Aamir promoting Jai Ho everywhere, but on a serious platform like Satyamev Jayate, it looks rather very odd to hear the chant.
Anyway, we will let it go and focus on what the show has to offer this time.
