Rangrasiya: 16 January, Rudra interrogates Paro
Rudra begins his interrogation with Paro and she isn't able to say a word. All she keeps mumbling is that her husband has been killed. She has a flashback of her wedding, the little time she has spent with Varun and his death and starts weeping again. Back in Virpur, Tejawat has called the entire village to his house.
Rudra's senior officer arrives at the military office and yells at Rudra for having killed Pakistanis in an encounter without any proof. Rudra tries to present story to his senior but he points out that a civilian is required to confirm his story. He tells him to make sure that he gets a confession out of the bride or the consequences will be dire.
Tejawat reminds the villagers that they have been insulted multiple times but this time the BSD officers have crossed a limit. They killed their daughter's husband and the rest of the groom's party. He urges the villagers that they have to be ready now to make a sacrifice and not let the BSD officers win.
Rudra enters the interrogation room and tells Paro that he's taking her back to Virpur. He opens her handcuffs and tells her that she is free. He takes her to her village and just before letting her go he says that only if she signs a statement saying that there were illegal arms in her doli, she can live with her family once again. He tells Paro's aunt to reason with her niece.
But in a shocking turn of events, Paro's aunt refuses to even recognize her!
