Jodha-Akbar: Finally, stone-hearted Akbar gives in to Jodha’s love and how!
Today’s episode unraveled some really sweet moments never shown before. Thanks to Jodha’s love and fear of her untimely departure from this world, Akbar’s heart has softened remarkably and he is a changed man now. After Jodha recovers from the deathly shallows of death, Akbar calls for the denizens of his Kingdom. At the massive gathering, the Mughal emperor announces that the event of Jodha’s illness has not only made him realize his true feelings for her but has also brought him closer to his responsibilities on a higher plane.
He expresses gratitude to God for his blessings and invites his countrymen for a huge celebration. He even reassures his subjects to be with them in their moments of happiness as well as gloom.
Salima Begum tells Jodha Begum that she has not seen anyone so upset and worried for anyone before till this day.
Ruqaiya Begum comes to enquire about Jodha’s health and thanks her for saving her husband’s life. She asks Jodha for any boon in return for this favour except Jalaal himself. This statement surprises Jodha a bit but she remains calm.
Akbar comes next to Jodha’s chambers and does a small pooja in her temple with the sacred lamp and the works. Then after, he gives the Lord’s offerings to Jodha Begum with utmost devotion. The Emperor also instructs the maid to leave them alone and guard the door of Jodha’s door as he will be speaking to her in private without anyone’s interference.
Needless to say, the fire of Jodha’s love and devotion has melted Akbar’s stony heart like molten iron.
