Shabbir Ahluwalia to act in Star Plus's "Missing"
Star Plus's thriller based show has been tentatively christened as 'Missing' based on the American fictional show will have actor Shabbir Ahluwalia. The show will be produced by the production house 24 Frames.
Star Plus is planning to strengthen its position on weekend programs with this finite series. 'Missing' will a right blend of action, thriller and romance. Of the same genre as Colors TV's 24, Missing was about an ex-CIA agent whose son goes missing. When in search of her son, she gets embroiled in international conspiracy between the CIA and an Interpol agent.
24 got a lot of critical acclaim, but wasn't able to deliver on the numbers game. We reckon that the fate of the Indian Missing would be similar, unless the production house manage to whip up something to the tastes of the Indian TV viewing audience.
