Rashami Desai joins hands with her ex-husband Nandish’s enemy!
"Dushman ka dushman, dost hota hai”
You may have heard the above adage many times, but Rashami Desai surely knows how to live by it, or so it seems.
The Uttaran actress, who recently split for good from her philandering husband Nandish Sandhu, joined actor Ajay Chaudhary's team Lucknow Nawabs for BCL Season 2. To remind you, Ajay was a partner of Nandish Sandhu and Mrunal Jain’s Ahmedabad Express. However, when he was caught cheating on them, he was given the boot. Later, Ajay formed his own team Lucknow Nawabs.
Rashami, too, had given her support to Nandish’s team last year. But, this season, it is going to be different as she will be seen cheering for her estranged husband’s enemy’s team.
Talking about her decision, Rashami says, “I have many friends who I would love to support in this team. It's a late entry because I was contemplating whether I should join the show as I don't know how to play cricket, but my team has promised to train me.”
Ajay Chaudhary adds, "Rashami Desai is my family friend. She's been a great co-star in Uttaran. She's a brilliant actor and a superb human being. I am grateful to Rashami for being part of my team Lucknow Nawabs in BCL Season 2. She has a great fan following and I am very sure about this fact that no one can be the better choice as a face of the team other than Rashami Desai for Lucknow Nawabs. She is a very positive person and it shows in her conduct.”
The hatred between Rashami and Nandish seems to be taking a proverbial turn now. What say?
