Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Disha Vakani just shot her last episode for the show
Disha Vakani will be missing from the show for 5-6 months.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has broken all records and has successfully become the longest-running show on Television. The show has had hilarious moments and has entertained audiences without stretching it. Various celebrity guests have appeared on the show from Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, all the Bollywood biggies have been on the show to promote their films.
The heart and soul of the show is Disha Vakani aka Daya Jethalal Gada, she has entertained fans and viewers so much that she has become a household name now.
She has been a strong part of the show and has taken the show's weight half on her shoulders. Disha is currently pregnant, and she just shot for her last episode for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah before going on a maternity break.
She even shot for quite a few episodes despite being pregnant, and now will take a short break for around 5-6 months before returning on sets. She shot her last episode on September 17.
According to reports, the leave is said to last for 5 to 6 months and this is a situation that needs to be fixed when it comes to the show makers.
After producer, Asit Modi confirmed earlier that Disha will be a part of the show and has no plans to quit it; how will they cope with Disha's absence for a considerable period of time is a matter of question.
Well, we'll have to stay tuned to see what can be done and compensated for Disha's absence.
