Sumeet Raghavan gets disturbed on seeing the terrible condition of a theatre, raises his voice against it
Sumeet Raghavan speaks about the ill condition of a theater.
Actor Sumeet Raghavan is undeniably one of the sweetest actors ever in the Indian Television Industry. The actor who laid his magical spell on the audiences with his extraordinary work in the Marathi industry and also in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, as Dr. Sahil, knows how to speak up for the right.
Yes, he raised his voice to a vital topic that was forever hidden in the dark and was untapped. The actor who was recently in Aurangabad for a live theatre performance of his was extremely disturbed looking at the condition of the stage and other important requirements provided to the artistes.
It was here when he felt the need to share the state of this government-maintained theatre building. In the video Sumeet is seen giving the viewers a tour of the place and showing what exactly they have to deal with in the auditorium - the six-minute video shared by him highlighted the pathetic state of the auditorium — the damaged stage, broken chairs, unkempt music systems and stinking toilets — an hour before staging his drama show on Saturday night. The video has been viewed and shared by many of his fans and art lovers, all of whom plead with the government to do something about such situations.
The entire area comes under Shiv Sena corporation and Sumeet requested them to take some action on it. Commenting on the same Sumeet says, "I thank the administration and Shiv Sena for their prompt action, I pray that the theatre is taken good care of in the future and stern action is taken against people who spit and litter in the auditorium, even the artists aren't spared who take the theatre premises for granted. Finally, my video was just a small push because the locals and the local talent were fighting for the betterment of the theatre for a very long time so it's their effort and they deserve to be given all the credit"
Sumeet adds, "Everybody knew about the pathetic state but my video just proved the much-needed push. The locals were fighting for this issue for a very long time so honestly the credit good to them. My video was like "right place right time."
Kudos to the efforts...
