Sony TV's Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage to go off air.
Here's some news for the fans of Sony TV's Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage. The show that kickstarted just a few moths ago in April, is all set to bid adieu to the audience. A source close to the show informs, "Yes, it is certainly looks like the show is soon to go off air. There are hardly any activities on sets. But noone has received any official confirmation from the channel yet." Apparently, the show is said to be garnering low TRPs.
It was TV heartthrob Eijaz Khan 's comeback show on the small screen. Set against the backdrop of Gujarat, the show saw Eijaz playing the role of a village headman. He had put on 10 kilos to look convincing in the role.
The show derives its title from the popular song ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ from the movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha, and the channel has brought the rights from Yash Raj Studios for it. The plot of the show revolves around a mature village man seeking a bride, and a young urban girl who is helping him find a suitable girl. It will feature a unique love story set between two people from different generations. The show stars Benaf Dadachandji, Niyati Fatnani and Jia Mustafa playing pivotal roles alongside Eijaz.
