On Monday, the actor wrote a heartfelt post praising his grandmother's resilience and the lessons he learnt during his trip back home.
Vivek Dahiya while sharing a picture with his grandmother wrote, "Her aura of positivity builds a wall around everyone she loves. Unfortunately I lost my dadaji day before yesterday. A whirlwind of emotions took over, although he was 93, losing a loved one is never easy."
Speaking about his grandmother's strength, he added, "In the midst of a gathering of around 200 people, I walked up to my dadi ma full of emotions and she smiled and lovingly asked me, "daoon poonch gaya ke?” Did you reach comfortably? I was dumbstruck by her strength! Post the cremation ceremony, with a heavy heart and eyes filled, I spent sometime with her and she told me, "He was 93, he lived a great life. I want you all to smile because your grandfather was a lucky man, blessed to have his children take care of him. There should be no one crying as he's a happy soul and every time we remember him, we should smile!"
