Actress Ritu Shivpuri is even now popularly remembered as the pretty lady opposite Govinda in the song Laal Dupattewali from David Dhawan's Aankhein. The actress now who is a full-time TV star was recently in news for portraying the role of a middle aged woman in Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.
Having said that, the actress never shies away from coming out bold, just the way she was in the 90's during her Bollywood stint. Ritu recently shared an old cover pic of herself posing topless with Akshay Kumar. She captioned it as, "Akshay and me many many moons ago ! @akshaykumar #majorthrowback." The actress recently received the Best Actress (Debut) award for her role in the series 24 at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation award. While talking to us about her favourite genrre of TV shows, Ritu had stated, "Something that excites me! I surely love saas-bahu soaps. It is just that they need to be realistic a little at least. I don’t mind doing it as long as my character brings in some quality work with it.." And How about doing a reality show like ‘Bigg Boss’? No, never. I don't want the world to keep an insight of my life and I would be the most boring contestant ever.
