Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya is one of the famous shows and the makers recently decided to go for the next generation track. The serial which is now known as Kumkum Bhagya Doosri Peedhi has taken a 20-year leap. The same now follows Pragya (played by Sriti Jha) and Abhi's (played by Shabir Ahluwalia) two young college-going daughters Prachi and Rhea. The role of Prachi is being played by Mugdha Chaphekar and on the other hand, Naina Singh is essaying the role of Rhea.
And now, we learned that Krishna Kaul, who is known for his role as Roy in Puncchbeat is all set to enter the show. He will essay the role of Ranbir, Rhea’s love interest. In the show, he will be playing the role of a budding rockstar and Abhi will be shown as the one who will support him to achieve her dream.
“I feel privileged to be a part of Kumkum Bhagya. It’s one of the biggest shows on Indian television today and I am also a huge fan of Shabir and Sriti’s work. Ranbir’s character is of a young college going boy who is extremely charming and is head over heels in love with his girlfriend Rhea and will go to any extent to keep her happy. I am looking forward to this brand new journey and hope that the audience love me in this new and interesting role," Krishna said.
