Krushna Abhishek says his character Sapna has made the viewers forget Sunil Grover on The Kapil Sharma Show
Krushna Abhishek reveals that no one speaks of Sunil Grover's absence on The Kapil Sharma Show anymore.
Speaking of The Kapil Sharma Show, there was a time when Sunil Grover was an inseparable part of the show. With his comic character Gutthi, Sunil made the viewers roll over with fits of laughter. The actor parted ways from the show after a brawl with co-star Kapil Sharma and never took a U-turn. Despite the fans requesting Sunil to make a comeback, he denied the possibilities so far. Initially, the show seemed incomplete without Sunil, but now even the team seems to have moved on.
In an interview with Zoom Tv, Krushna Abhishek revealed that since the time he has been playing his character of Sapna on the show, the audience seems to have forgotten Sunil Grover as Gutthi. Sunil is a good actor, Krushna says, but he has brought his own flavour of comedy and humour with Sapna after which no one ever compares the two characters. He says that he has seldom been showered with such compliments when viewers see him perform on stage.
Krushna further revealed that no one speaks of Sunil's absence on the show anymore. They missed him initially but have moved on now. Speaking of his character Sapna, he believes that Sunil has a different style and his character doesn't match with his character Sapna at all. Actor Akshay Kumar does a different comedy than Govinda, and both of them are great in their own space, he explains giving an example of the two great Bollywood stars.
