Kkusum actress Nausheen Ali Sardar: Someone asked me a few questions about Ekta Kapoor & misquoted my replies
Kkusum actress Nausheen Ali Sardar opened up about her equation with Ekta Kapoor. Read to know what happened.
Nausheen Ali Sardar became popular in every Indian household as Kkusum. She played the titular role in this serial aired on Sony TV from 2001 to 2005. After this show, Nausheen never worked with Ekta Kapoor. Ekta has launched many actors and actresses who have worked in multiple shows with her or hang out with her, however, Nausheen was never seen with Ekta Kapoor over the last decade. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Nausheen opened up about her equation with the producer.
When asked about Ekta, the Gangaa actress told Hindustan Times, "I respect and admire Ekta a lot. She gave me my first break in Kkusum and people still remember me for the show. But, in between, things went wrong. Someone — I would not like to name [that person] — asked me a few questions about Ekta and then she misquoted my replies to Ekta." The actress said that Ekta Kapoor is not aware of what she really said in that interview about her.
Nausheen has decided that she will not speak much about Ekta Kapoor so that there's no more misunderstanding. She stated, "I’ve stopped talking about her much." The actress hopes that someday things get sorted out between them. When asked if she would work again with Kapoor, Nausheen answered, "I’d love to work with any good producer."
Talking about Ekta Kapoor, she is bringing back her popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay with Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan as Prerna and Anurag. Hina Khan will play the iconic villain Komolika.
