Kapil Sharma is one of the most popular and adored personalities in the entertainment industry. One of the most hilarious Indian comedians, he is best known for his stand-up comedy and talk show The Kapil Sharma Show. While the first season was produced by K9 Films in association with Frames Productions, the second and ongoing season is being jointly produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia. Other than Kapil, the team of TKSS includes Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and Rochelle Rao.
While politician and TV personality Navjot Singh Sidhu used to be a permanent guest on the show in season 1 and beginning of season 2, there were reports in February that the makers are planning on replacing him because of backlash from opponents and social media for his statement on Pulwama attack. Currently, veteran actress and TV presenter Archana Puran Singh is the permanent guest on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Dedicated to the current guest Archana, Kapil dressed up as Sidhu and mimicked how he would react about Archana sitting on his seat on the show.
