Recently, Hina spoke about the limitations she faced whilst playing a quintessential TV bahu. She told Hindustan Times, "As a television bahu, you do have limitations when it comes to experimenting with fashion. But that’s part and parcel of the show. When I was playing a bahu on screen, my experiments though limited were inclined more towards Indian. Now I can experiment a lot more. I have always loved dressing up, which girl doesn’t? With Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss, audiences have now started seeing the way I actually like to dress.”

Hina also revealed that she would love to take up singing as a profession if an opportunity on the same comes by. About singing, she had said, “I haven’t yet thought about singing professionally, it is a hobby. But if an opportunity comes up, I would surely like to take it up professionally. I enjoy various types of songs, but my favourites are some of the old classic Hindi numbers.’'
