EXCLUSIVE: Shrenu Parikh talks about bond with Ishqbaaaz BFFs Surbhi Chandna, Mansi & their constant support
Shrenu Parikh got into a candid conversation with PINKVILLA and along with her upcoming show Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, she also went on to reveal how Ishqbaaaz girls Surbhi Chandna and Mansi Srivastava are not only BFFs but also her best critics.
Ishqbaaaz girl gang of Shrenu Parikh, Mansi Srivastava and Surbhi Chandna never fail to have a blast with each other and well, their bond has indeed managed to stay just as it is even long after the show has gone off air. Shrenu's new show Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna went on air just yesterday while Mansi is currently seen in Divya Drishti. Surbhi, on the other hand, might soon be seen in Sanjivani, and even with such busy schedules they always manage to make time for each other.
When quizzed about her bond with Surbhi and Mansi evolving even after the show going off air, she says, "(Touchwood) So you know generally after a show ends, everyone goes their own way and people tend to lose touch because everyone is busy. And I am just grateful to God about my Ishqbaaaz girls and how we survived. We have really bonded well and we don’t push this bond too much but it does happen a little because everything that is genuine does flow. Just touchwood, this is something that I am going to keep forever and cherish forever."
Ask her how has the response from Surbhi and Mansi been, she said, "So even when I was prepping up for the role, they were constantly there for me and suggested me to watch certain films, and things that I should do. Even after the promos, they have been amazing critics, they keep telling me things. Surbhi keeps telling me since she is very conscious about her looks she keeps giving her inputs suggesting me to do certain things in a certain way. So I get such feedback from Surbhi, Mansi on the other hand, is the most genuine and she is super chill. In fact, even Surbhi, she is just super straight forward and says what she has to, and I think that’s how friendships should be, they should be your mirrors and not talk behind your back."
She added, "They are genuinely very happy for the show, and after they watch the first episode, I am sure they will have a lot of things to tell me. And also, they are both amazing actresses so their opinions matter to me and even on Ishqbaaaz, we used to always keep a check on each other. However, their opinion is often biased because we love each other so much."
In fact, Mansi, Surbhi, and Nehalaxmi Iyer also attended the screening of the first episode of the show on Sunday evening, and they all seemed to be in complete awe of Shrenu as well as the show. Looks like everyone is going to love the show after all. Have you watched it yet?
