Divya Drishti's Mansi Srivastava on turning a lizard: People have turned into animals & snakes in the past too

And one of the shows called Divya Drishti produced by Fireworks Productions and Mukta Dhond is now in the news as recently Mansi Srivastava aka Lavanya was showcased as a lizard in the show. For the unversed, Lavanya turns into a lizard and a bizarre drama unfolds, and later, viewers trolled the show and channel left, right and center.
In an interview with IWM BUZZ, she spoke about the same. She said, “People have turned into animals and snakes in the past too, there is nothing new in it. Just that they haven’t seen lizard before. I wasn’t aware of the same since the beginning when I signed the show.”
She added, “I have been a Harry Potter fan always. I have seen people turning into rats and what not, if people can watch that then they should not be so hateful about this too.” When asked if she got affected by the trolls for the same, she said that she read some funny comments on the promo bit she doesn't get affected as she is doing her job.
She also added even though the series is getting trolled people enjoy it and watch it and that's why it garners good TRP numbers. She ended her answer saying how a negative character always gets trolled and hated and how people should watch it in a light-hearted way instead of trolling.
Speaking of the show, it is the tale of two sisters Divya and Drishti who have superpowers. Apart from Mansi, the show also stars Nyra Banerjee, Sana Sayyad, Adhvik Mahajan and Sangeeta Ghosh in the pivotal roles.
