Actress Shweta Basu Prasad is one girl who has grown from a tiny little Shruti in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki into being a gorgeous young woman. Currently slaying as Nandini in her mythological show, ChandraNandini the actress has been receiving a lot of appreciation for her performance. The pretty lady who believes in calling a spade, a spade is talented not just on camera but also in different spheres of life. Shweta who reviews various web shows available has been receiving great response from her fans for her fine write ups. Well, not just that, the actress is also a talented Sitar artist.

Yes, Shweta flawlessly can play the Sitar and that's what she gifted her fans on the special eve of Independence Day today. The actress put up a video on her Instagram account where she is seen playing the national anthem of India, Jana Gana Mana on her Sitar. Talking about her encounter with learning the melodious instrument Sitar, Shweta revealed, "I learnt the Sitar for a while right after school. Although with my current hectic schedule now, I practice seldom. But once in a while, I practice my sitar at home."

The actress was recently seen on the Big Screen with Karan Johar 's Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. While talking about it, Shweta said, "It was a great feeling to having worked with such a huge banner. I am looking forward to doing many more films. I have been getting offers. But I am looking forward to people call me and give good roles."
