The Dadasaheb Phalke awards that took place in the city a few days ago, saw the who's who of the glam world. Many deserving celebrities were felicitated with the award in various categories. One such gorgeous who was honoured with the award in the TV debut of the year (female) category was Ridhima Pandit.
While talking to us, an elated Ridhima said, "It's the most amazing time of my life. I have been doing good work and when such organisations wish to award you for the hard work you have put in, it feels like all the hardwork put in during late nights - early mornings have finally paid off." Life OK's Bahu Humari Rajni Kant that starred the gorgeous actress in the lead, was loved by a lot of fans. Produced by Sonali Jaffer, the show that was based on Rajni aka Ridhima, a robot machine designed inside a human body, was simply an amalgamation of fun and innocence, giving away a lot of laughter and aww moments! While the acting is in itself difficult, portraying the role of a machine in the form of a human so convincingly is definitely a tough row to hoe. But the protagonist, Riddhima Pandit aka Rajni, surely did a fantastic job! Unlike the current Icchadhari naagins or makkhi bhi kabhi bahu thi saga, this show was light and did not give the viewers heavy doses of the typical saas bahu dramas, revenges, planning, plotting etc! Every dialogue delivered by Rajni in the typical robotic style is just so funny and adorable! It brought a smile to the viewer's face!

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress is doing a web series directed by Suparn Verma and also has a Marathi film in her kitty.
