Dance India Dance 2 winner Shakti Mohan in an exclusive heart-to-heart conversation with us spoke about her impressive life journey as a dancer.
Dance India Dance 2's winner Shakti Mohan is one of the most impeccable dancers of the glam world. The fine artist in an exclusive heart-to-heart conversation with us spoke about her impressive life journey from being a dance student and winning Dance India Dance 2 to judging Dance Plus and now being the entrepreneur of a full-fledged dance institute.
On the eve of World Dance Day that was celebrated by every dancer at heart on 29th April, we got in touch with the adorable and soft spoken Shakti who gave us a walk through her journey as a danseuse. The gorgeous girl credits her elder sister Neeti for introducing her to the world of dance. Her mentor Terence Lewis, had once stated that he feels lucky to have Shakti as his student. "I'm so proud that Shakti was my student for three years and then she performed in my company. She won the 'Dance India Dance' show and it was great that she was the only one who is not smitten by fame," said Terence. "Everything was against her and she still won the show. She held on to her passion. She has done an amazing work in 'Jhalak' and now she is a judge. Her whole trajectory has been amazing." he further said, "She has worked hard consistently and without complaining. That's the most amazing aspect of Shakti. It's marvelous when you work hard and when you are sincere and focused".
Shakti was last seen in "Dance Plus 1 and 2" along with Remo D'Souza, Dharmesh and Punit Pathak.
