Sneha Wagh on walking out of her second marriage: I am not open for any new relationship now
"I am in a very happy space right now, in a beautiful space. I am happy being strong. So if someone is putting me down or someone is making me weak, I will not accept it,"Sneha Wagh.
Talk about a fiercely strong woman of Telly Ville and we have the very pretty Sneha Wagh. The actress who will be seen in a fierce role of a queen in Life OK's Maharana Ranjit Singh has had her share of ups and downs on her personal front. The actress who walked out of her second marriage to an interior designer, says that she is currently all strong and in the happiest phase of her life.
"I am in a very happy space right now, in a beautiful space. I am happy being strong. So if someone is putting me down or someone is making me weak, I will not accept it." So is she ready for another relationship? "No, I am not open for a relationship nor a marriage. I just want to focus on myself. Yes, I have made mistakes and have taken the wrong decisions for myself but I don't regret them because they were decisions taken by me for me. Right now, I am not open to any such things as of now. I love all my people, my family, my friends. So I don't think I want to give all the love and everything all together to someone new suddenly. I am now scared of the exploitation of emotions that comes across. I don't want to waste the time the emotions all over again. For me, Work is my love currently," said the actress.
While talking about her role on her upcoming magnum opus, the actress elaborated on her role. Sneha considers her role to be a very powerful one. "Raj Kaur comes from a huge background. She was the daughter of Jind Ke Raja. and she has always been a princess. She then got married to Maha Singh. It was the time when the Mughal emperors ruled the dynasty. So imagine how fierce and protective will and only queen with her only child be. She herself is very powerful and so is her husband and together they have a wonderful son," explained Sneha.
So does she relate to her her powerful characters played by her till now? "Oh Yes! I relate to every powerful character of mine with myself in real life as well. I feel that every woman is powerful and no woman ain't any weak. It's just that they should know they are strong. Every woman is strong and she herself should know her own worth. She should be able to stand for herself and doesn't need anybody else to stand. When you yourself do not know that you are strong, it is that time when you are weak or else every woman is strong that ways." So will she ever be open to turning into an animal in any super fictional show? "Certainly, if it convinces me, I'll be ready to do it. If it doesn't convince me itself, how will it convince the audiences? Because for me, Good content matters. If you have the good content, but less money its no issue. but a vice versa will definitely hamper."
Despite having a larger reach, TV is somewhere is still looked down upon when compared to Bollywood. Ask this and Sneha says, "Of course, it will look down upon because that is Bollywood, and Bollywood is Bollywood. It all depends upon on how we are shown. agar hume bada dikhana hai toh main badi hoon, agar chota dikhana hai toh main choti hoon. We have created that difference. But now there's a nice bridge that has been made between both the worlds. People there also know that TV's reach is huge and humongous. For every movie promotion, a TV appearance is a must." She further said, "A TV heroine is still bigger than a film actress, I feel so. Because their reach is massive both nationally and internationally. People consider them to be their own. When TV stars are spotted, people consider them to be more relatable and more like their own family members as compared to Bollywood actresses," she signed off.
Maharana Ranjit Singh will air from March 24, 2017, at 8:30 pm.
