Host Sugandha Mishra clears the air on her controversy with Kangana Ranaut!
Sugandha Mishra has recently cleared the air on her controversy with Kangana Ranaut on the sets of The Voice. Sugandha has said that she had a great time shooting with Kangana and that they shared an amazing camaraderie together.
Reports of Kangana Ranaut threatening to slap The Voice season 2 host and comedienne-actress Sugandha Mishra have created quite a stir. However, going by Sugandha’s recent statement it seems like all is well between her and the Rangoon star.
Clearing the air the 28-year-old TV actress said, “I really admire Kangana and her body of work. We had a great time while shooting the episode on Voice and the camaraderie is for all to see in the episode. In fact, we did an act together where she calls up Datto and says datto thappad marungi to daant toot jayenge. Imitating her and the fashion walk was all in good humour and as an artist, she appreciated it. That’s all I want to say and there's nothing more to it."
Shahid and Kangana were recently on the singing reality show for the promotions of their upcoming film-Rangoon.
However, things were reported to have got awkward when on the insistence of coaches Salim and Shaan, Sugandha mimicked the Queen star. To which Kangana said, “I feel like slapping her.”
Well for us it's all well that ends well!
Helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Rangoon also stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Set on the backdrop of World War II, Kangana will be portraying the role of Fearless Nadia in the historical drama.
Speaking about her character, the actress has said, “She (Fearless Nadia) is a stuntwoman and it's an amalgamation of many characters in the film. I am known to speak my mind and to say things that I stand for is right. That sort of conviction and identity was important for the role.”
