Talking from her hotel room, Priya Malik sound excited for a telephonic chat with Pinkvilla.com despite not keeping well after her ouster from the Bigg Boss house. The wannabe TV actress doled out some interesting details about her a month-and-a-half long journey exclusively for our readers. Read on.

Who do you think would have been the happiest at your exit?

I think Rochelle and Mandana were pleased because they considered me as a direct competition.

How come you have developed such fondness for Rishabh?

We had an instant connection when we first met after my entry in the BB house. It was easy to connect because he was also a wild card contestant. I noticed other inmates were making him feel an outsider. I stand up for people who face discrimination. So, I supported Rishabh. He is a child by heart. We share a bond based on mutual care and affection.

Who do you think deserves to win?

If I say Rishabh, people will think I am being biased. But, I believe in a short span of time, Rishabh has given a lot as compared to others. He has a heart of gold. He has made mistakes but he has apologised and learnt from them. He has grown as an individual and has the spirit of sportsmanship.

What has Bigg Boss 9 taught you?

There were no emotionally strenuous tasks in Big Brother Australia. The challenging tasks in Bigg Boss have made me physically resilient. Also, in the house during my conversations with people, I learnt about the Showbiz in India and how it operates. I also realised that in the Bigg Boss house, you may not get along with others initially, but that does not mean everyone is bad. Everyone has a good side and it takes some time for you to see it.

What’s the plan after the show is over? Will you be present for the grand finale?

Yes, I will be present for the finale shoot which will be on Friday (January 22). At the same time, I am thinking of staying back in India and try my muck in television.

So, are you open to working in Hindi TV shows?

Definitely! I want to play the chant Bhabhi or the evil bahu…I am sure I shall reach there.  (laughs)
