Bigg Boss 13: Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame Devoleena to enter the show; Biography, News, pics of the actor

And it is that time of the year when all roads lead to the house of Bigg Boss as the thirteenth season of the reality show-Bigg Boss will start tomorrow i.e. September 29, 2019. Like every year, the curiosity is sky high as to which all celebrities will make it to the show, and amidst a host of names, one name that is confirmed to be participating in the show is Devoleena Bhattacharjee. That’s right! What is interesting is that while on screen, we have mostly seen Devoleena Bhattacharjee don a saree, viewers and all her fans are excited to see her ditch the traditional look and don the glamorous look on television.

Devoleena, best known for her role in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, will be seen as a participant in season 13 of Bigg Boss. Devoleena, famously known as her screen name, Gopi Modi, was born on 22 August to a Bengali family in Upper Assam. Not many know but Devoleena Bhattacharjee is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and she got noticed when she auditioned for the dance reality series Dance India Dance 2.

Thereafter, Devoleena Bhattacharjee made her acting debut with Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto as Bani and in 2012, things changed for her as she was cast overnight as the female lead Gopi Modi in  Saath Nibhaana Saathiya after Giaa Manek, who previously played the role, was ousted from the series. Due to the constant time leaps in the show, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was meaning to quit the show but as fate had it, she continued to be a part of the show and in June 2017, Devoleena completed five successful years of playing the protagonist.
