Universal Children's Day 2019: Significance, Quotes and wishes which will help your child become a good human

Children are a gift from God. The reason why they are so special is because of their simplicity and heart-warming innocence. We recently celebrated Children's Day on November 14th. On this special day we had many of us young adults and adults reminiscing their childhood by putting forth their throwback photos. Not many know but November 20th is celebrated as United Nation's Universal Children's Day. The significance of this day is to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide. 

UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, works towards promoting children's welfare all over the globe. There are also special measures taken to educate the children of the various rights that they have, like, Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the rights of the child. Way back in 1954 on December 14th, the UN decided that all countries should introduce an annual event from 1956 known as Universal Children's Day. It was done so to promote understanding between children all over the World and promoting their welfare too. 

The UN further on gave the freedom to each country to celebrate Children's Day on any day they wish to. While most of the countries chose to celebrate it on November 20th, India and Australia chose different days to celebrate this occasion.
