The company has decided to send its latest Halo projector to play around and test in all possible aspects to get an honest review of the device. XGIMI's Halo is a compact projector that weighs just 1.6 kg but is powerful enough to turn any white wall into a 30-300 inch large screen. It comes with a resolution of up to 1920×1080 pixels combined with 600-800 ANSI Lumens of brightness, this 1080p portable projector also supports video formats of up to 4K Ultra HD. 

Halo also adopts a highly efficient LED light source to offer projections that are crisp, clear, and bright for its entire LED lifespan of 30,000 hours. Enough for 4-5 hours of use every day for the next 6-7 years without any need to change the lamp. 

Halo projector comes equipped with Harman Kardon to create a customized set of two 5W speakers. The XGIMI Halo can also be used alone as a set of high-quality Bluetooth speakers. It’s powered by Android TV 9.0 (upgradable). With Android TV, you can access all the contents as you wish. 

XGIMI Halo Performance 

We have used XGIMI Halo for more than two weeks and the experience of the device was impressive, we never felt like we were looking at a wall projection. We have carried the device with us to the office, house parties, road trips and more. The XGIMI Halo never disappointed us, thanks to the built-in large capacity battery that ensures excellent portability. During our usage, we have achieved 2 to 4-hour videos and listen to 8 hours of music on a one-time charge. 

Moreover, the device also allows you to attach your gaming console and take advantage of big-screen gaming. If you have a PlayStation or Xbox then it's a cherry on the cake. The overall experience of the device was impressive and premium. 

XGIMI Halo Design 

The portable design of the device makes it easier for users to carry it on the go. The XGIMI Halo is compact enough to fit in your backpack. The projector sports a cube design with grills on all the sides, it has a 3.5mm audio output jack, HDMI port, USB2.0 port, and power port. It has a ventilated design that ensures proper airflow to avoid overheating and the outer shell of the device is built of metal. 

Our Thoughts on XGIMI Halo 

Long story short, XGIMI Halo is a brilliant projector that comes with an elegant design and feels premium if you place it in your living room. During our usage we didn’t face any issue with the projection, the device is smart enough to adjust the screen scaling of its own. The connectivity options of the device are also very feasible which makes it one of the perfect portable projectors in the market. 

However, the XGIMI Halo comes with a price tag of Rs 90,500 which might disappoint a lot of users, but we have already made it clear that it's one of the brands that makes premium products so the price must not be affordable. There is no doubt that the product doesn’t deserve that price tag and if you are willing to pay close to 1lakh for a portable projector then this can be a great deal for you.
