Vivo has launched its most awaited X70 series today in India and expanded its portfolio. The Vivo X70 series includes — the Vivo X70 Pro and the Vivo X70 Pro + smartphones. The premium-grade phones come with highlighted features like ZEISS optics, powerful processors, decent battery, premium look, and a lot more among the others. Ahead of the official launch, the company has shared the Vivo X70 Pro units with us to get an exclusive experience of the device and get you a comprehensive review of the device, but before that, we are here with a short first impression of the phone explaining the design and specifications of the device. Vivo X70 Pro premium design

The Vivo X70 Pro comes with a premium design with a gradient colour back panel. The smartphone is launched in Cosmic Black and Aurora Dawn colour shades and we have received the Aurora Dawn. The handset sports a hefty rectangular-shaped camera bump placed at the top-left corner of the rear panel which houses the powerful ZEISS sensor along with branding and ZEISS T* coating.

The chassis of the phone has a metal build that houses volume rocker keys and a power button on the right-side and SIM tray, USB-Type-C, and speaker grills at the bottom. The left and top sides of the handset don't house any buttons and look neat. The overall look and feel of the phone is impressive and well deserves to stand in the premium segment.

Vivo X70 Pro specifications

The Vivo X70 Pro flaunts a 6.56-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole camera cutout. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset, clubbed with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, it has 4GB virtual RAM which can be used from the onboard storage. The Vivo X70 Pro bags a 4,450mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge fast charging support and runs on Android 11 on top of Funtouch OS 12. Vivo X70 Pro camera

The Vivo X70 Pro sports a quad-camera setup with the combination of a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 12-megapixel portrait camera, and an 8-megapixel OIS periscope camera with 5X optical and 60x hyper zoom feature. At the front, the smartphone houses a 32-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls. The camera performance of the handset has proved the power of the ZEISS optics and the low light capture of the phone can be one of the biggest selling points for the smartphone. First Impression of Vivo X70 Pro

At first glance, the Vivo X70 Pro itself is very impressive. The company has ensured that the handset looks premium. Apart from the design, the on-paper specifications of the phone also impressed us except the battery capacity, the 4,450mAh battery pack seems to be on the lower side.
