Will Wright, the developer of SimCity and the Sims, is releasing a new Sims title named Proxi after breaking every record for best-selling PC game series. The well known game designer is using artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to create a game in which players may connect with their inner selves and generate their own content.

As the name implies, the new game will allow players to build mental proxies. A player can put their most cherished and essential memories into digital artwork, which can then be turned into a digital biography. This biography of a player can be engaged with, shared, and revisited. This revolutionary game concept has the potential to change the entire gaming scene. SimCity and the Sims are two calm creations set in our everyday reality that created a dramatic contrast while most of the developers were building fantasy and escapism, warfare and rivalry.

Will Wright's Gallium Studio has teamed with Forte Labs Inc. to produce this new game, according to a recent Bloomberg article. The main concept of the game is to meaningfully dig into the sub-consciousness of an individual.

How will the game work?

The game will use information about how players choose to organise their memories to learn more about who they are and what they think. The game's conceptual map will be intimately linked to the player's attitude toward everything in his or her life. A player can also develop their own maps based on how they navigate about the world and form connections with other objects. 

The game will unfold in four parts, the first of which will build digital situations based on your memories in the form of a snow globe, with the player being able to integrate 3D models, audio, and images to create scenarios. The game's algorithm will allow users to own their creations, which they may do by trading them on a secure marketplace incorporated within the Forte and NFT gaming. After that, a player can put these memory orbs around a virtual world as if they were cities, and use them to play a resource management game similar to SimCity.

The AI will ask the users to play mini-games based on their memories in the third stage so that it may learn more about them before developing the final Proxi.

In an interview Wright said, "I think self-discovery is dangerous." “Learning about the world isn't nearly as frightening as learning about oneself.”
