The demon-busting combat in this latest trailer, which has assassin Lo Wang at its core, is temporarily interrupted in a humorous pause. While the katanas from Shadow Warrior 3 don't show, viewers do get a look at a new hammer-type weapon.
The tale of Shadow Warrior 3 follows capitalist shogun Lo Wang and his henchman Orochi Zilla as they attempt to reclaim an ancient dragon that they unwittingly released. Lo Wang must journey across undiscovered corners of the planet, armed to the teeth with a mix of swords and guns, in order to track down the beast and prevent a demon apocalypse.

The developers also stated that further footage of the game, as well as an official release date, would be disclosed in the near future after announcing the delay. Knowing Devolver Digital, the new release date for Shadow Warrior 3 might appear at any time in the next weeks. Shadow Warriors 3 "needs a bit more time to polish its blades," according to developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital.
