Playground Games recently announced that Forza Horizon 5 has "gone gold," an industry milestone indicating the completion of production. While the game's production is still ongoing, Forza Horizon 5 is planned to release on November 9, 2021, and the title appears to be set for that date. Forza Horizon 5 is now available for full download, allowing you to jump right into the action on launch day.

Requirements to Preload Forza Horizon 5

The preload is available for Windows PCs and Xbox consoles and it requires a hard drive space of around 100 GB. With a valid Xbox Game Pass subscription or by pre-ordering the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, or Premium Edition, customers can start playing Forza Horizon 5 right now.

Those who purchase Forza Horizon 5 on disc can preload the game using the Xbox app on their cellphones today. To get started, simply search for Forza Horizon 5 in the Store and select "Download to Console." If you preloaded Forza Horizon 5 on your Xbox console or PC before Oct. 21, it's a good idea to check for game updates on your platform of choice to be sure you have all of the game files. This will ensure that you're ready to play Forza Horizon 5 as soon as it launches in Early Access on November 5 for Premium Edition and Premium Add-On Bundle owners, or on November 9 for everyone else.
