Destiny 2’s Festival of Lost is Back in 2021; Read More About What’s New in this Season
The Festival of Lost is a Halloween-themed in-game event in Destiny 2 that includes three Haunted Sectors where new gear and incentives can be acquired.
Bungie has announced that the Festival of the Lost has returned in Destiny 2, which is of course not a new narrative for long-time fans of the game. This in-game event has been made available in Destiny 2 in honor of Halloween, and it will include three Haunted Sectors where new gear and incentives can be earned. Festival of the Lost is accessible through November 2nd and is free to all game players. As a result, owning the Season Pass is not required to experience the additional content.
How to Participate?
Festival of the Lost centered on the Tower, which serves as Destiny 2's main hub and also serves as the starting point for matchmaking events such as this year's Haunted Sectors of the Lost. To take part in the Festival of the Lost, all you need is access to the Tower's social space. Then talk to Eva Lavante, who will give you an introduction task called ‘Gone but Not Forgotten,’ which will let you access the Haunted Lost Sectors.

What’s New in Festival of Lost in Destiny 2?
This year's Festival appears to be a significant one. Goofy masks and candy bags are back — the latter is required to buy the former and three new “Haunted Sectors” have been added to the game, each based on a different horror story. One story, for instance, is about a headless beast haunting the Moon's depths. A new Exotic Sparrow, Exotic Ship, Exotic Ghost Shell, and insignia are also available, all of which are Halloween-themed. Players in Destiny 2 can also search for lost pages from the Book of the Forgotten to learn more about memorable figures from the Destiny universe and their epic exploits.

Getting Jurrasic Green Pulse Rifle
The Jurassic Green pulse rifle is the headline weapon at this year's Festival of the Lost. It's not difficult to obtain Jurassic Green. Finish the "Gone but not Forgotten" quest from Festival of the Lost to acquire a guaranteed copy. If that roll isn't to your liking, you can receive extra tries at achieving the perfect roll—if you're ready to put in the effort. In Haunted Sectors, Jurassic Green can be found in the final chest. However, converting Spectral Pages into Manifest Pages improves your chances, so bring some in when you're out looking for it.

Masks in Festival of Lost
Obtaining masks is a major draw at each year's Festival of the Lost. These are ornaments that go on the Masquerader's Helmet and may be purchased for a minimal amount of Glimmer from Eva Levante.
Masks can be found at the following places:
Candy is earned by fighting adversaries, completing activities, and completing bounties while wearing a Mask. It's best to keep the Mask equipped for the duration, similar to how you'd keep the Solstice armour equipped during the Solstice of Heroes event, to ensure you get drops!
