Dell Introduces Alienware Aurora Gaming PCs with Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake Processor
The latest 12th Gen Alder Lake processors from Intel have arrived. They're built on Intel's new 7 technology nodes and have the most up-to-date hybrid architecture, which combines performance and efficiency x86 cores. These new CPUs will power Intel's next generation of computers, and there will be plenty of announcements soon. Dell has already introduced its latest Alienware Aurora R13 gaming PC, which features Intel's latest 12th Generation Alder Lake processor and a new look. Processors ranging from the Core i5-12600KF to the Core i9-1200KF, as well as Nvidia graphics cards, are available.
The Intel 12th Gen 'Alder Lake' CPUs power the Alienware Aurora R13, while AMD Ryzen processors power the Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14. The Aurora R13 can be built with either an Intel Core i9 12900KF or an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU, however, the Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 can only be equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor. Dell has also unveiled a new XPS desktop that runs on Intel's 12th Gen 'Alder Lake' processors.

Specifications of Alienware Aurora R13
Alienware's Aurora R13 gaming PC features a new design and Intel's latest 12th Generation Alder Lake processor. You can choose from Core i5-12600KF to i9-1200KF processors, as well as a variety of Nvidia graphics cards. The R13 also features Alienware's revised Legend 2.0 chassis, which has more internal space and is meant to improve airflow. It also comes with the option of adding a clear side panel for an additional $70. Aurora R13 is powered by a proprietary Z690-based motherboard by Alienware. It supports up to 128GB dual-channel DDR5 RAM and has three PCIe slots. One can choose between a basic NVMe M.2 SSD and the dual-drive non-RAID storage solutions, which are more expensive. It can support GPUs like the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 or AMD's Radeon RX 6900 XT. Alienware will offer either a 460W or a 750W power supply, depending on the graphics card you choose. For both PCs, the same set of networking options are available as seen on the Dell XPS desktop. But, of course, what's new here is the inclusion of RGB lighting. Single storage and dual-drive non-RAID configurations are available on the Aurora R13's onboard storage. The Alienware Aurora R13 features a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, 2 Type-C ports with PowerShare technology. It weighs 16.5 kg and measures 510x589x225mm.

Specifications for the Dell Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14
An AMD Ryzen 9 5650X processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 GDDR6X or AMD Radeon RX6900 XT GDDR6 GPU are included in the Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 desktop. The remaining specifications are identical to those of the Alienware Aurora R13.
Specifications for the Dell XPS desktop
Dell's XPS desktops are also equipped with Intel's 12th Generation 'Alder Lake' processors (up to Core i9 12900K). Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 GDDR6x GPU or AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT GDDR6 GPU can be installed. The storage options for the Dell XPS desktop are identical to those on the Alienware computers discussed earlier. The XPS desktop has the same ports and connectivity choices as the Aurora laptops, with the exception of a front-facing SD card slot. The aluminium stand raises the height to 391mm, while the depth and width are 426.7mm and 173mm, respectively. It has a maximum weight of 7.62 kg.
