In ‘Tere Sheher Mein’, we recently saw Rafi Malik aka Ramashrey getting married to the female protagonist Amaya (Hiba Nawab), thereby, changing the course of the story. Amaya had learnt that Sumitra and her gang have been planning to ruin her sister Rachita's life by maligning her name for being Sneha's illegitimate child. To save the oblivious Rachita for drastic consequences of marrying Ramashrey, Amaya gets married to him, thus leaving her ardent lover Mantu heartbroken. While, Ramashrey and Rachita have no clue about Amaya's sacrifice, Sumitra is game to mete out the worst treatment to Amaya in the upcoming episodes.

Talking about the unexpected marriage, Rafi says, “This is one of the biggest twists in our show through which you can see. The two jodi's are separated just to keep up family pride so both are sticking to the marriage just because of respect and name in the society of their respected families. Further, there are many more twist and turns coming up which we are already working on. I hope we deliver the best performance.”

Since, almost every actor has to wed at least once in reel life, the Young Turk Rafi opens up about the emotions (or lack thereof) he went through during his on-screen marriage.

“This is not my 1st on screen marriage but this is the second time I got married in my career. But I didn't get married in a normal way in both the shows I got married because of the circumstances. I feel nothing.”

He further adds, “It was tiring though we shot for all the rituals for almost 15 days and they were quite fun too. I got to see a lot of new things and rasams through this which was hilarious and enjoyable at the same time.”
